Mimi ran a Lean UX workshop with us and I would highly recommend her here!

Although we already had an understanding of Lean UX as a team, we didn’t manage to fill out the Lean UX Canvas on our own. We got bogged down, didn’t agree and at some points we weren’t clear what was actually expected of us.

Mimi, with her open and calm manner, helped us to answer all our open questions and successfully complete the Canvas. The workshop sessions with her were also a lot of fun, we laughed a lot and I especially liked her mini-games to lighten things up.

So far, I have always found workshops rather boring, exhausting and not goal-oriented. Now we want to integrate some of Mimi’s impulses into our meetings.

I recommend Mimi without hesitation and without reservation and hope very much that I can take part in another workshop with her soon.

Workshop Overview: In this workshop, I guide your team through a collaborative journey that empowers you to ideate, iterate, and refine a UX project using the Lean UX methodology by Jeff Gothelf and Josh Seiden. My goal is to help your team uncover valuable insights, align on priorities, and create user-centered solutions, all within the remote workspace.

Example Template: On the left, you’ll find screenshots of my Miro template for this workshop. It serves as a collaborative workspace for your team to fill in each section of the Lean UX Canvas. It’s a visual representation of how I guide you through the process step by step.

Workshop Flow:

  1. Introduction: I set the stage, introduce the Lean UX Canvas methodology, and we align on the workshop goals.
  2. Ice-Breaking, Recreation and Energising: We begin with a fun and interactive activity that encourages bonding and collaboration. And throughout the workshop, I engage your team with recreational activities that refresh the mind and maintain engagement.
  3. Canvas Exploration: We dive into each section of the Lean UX Canvas, exploring its purpose and relevance.
  4. Collaborative Activities: Through guided activities, your team collaborates on filling in the Canvas, encouraging diverse perspectives.
  5. Iteration and Refinement: I guide your team in refining Canvas elements based on feedback and insights. 
  6. Actionable Takeaways: Your team leaves with a complete Lean UX Canvas ready to inform your next steps.
